Let's shine with the autumn colours of the
forest... Until the fun and delicious charcoal
event at
the idyllic clearing next to the cottage on Črni vrh
can be reached by bicycle, on foot or by car.

Walk to the hilltop
An undemanding, guided mountain hike from
Koblarji to Črne vrh takes place along forest
roads and trails and lasts about an hour and a
quarter. The meeting point is at Luža in Koblarji.

By bike to the hilltop
A guided recreational cycling ascent to Črni vrh
with a total length of 13 km leads along cycle

paths and forest road (4 km). The meeting place
is at the Red Hall (Cesta na stadion 7, Kočevje).

Arrival on Črni vrh
Participants taste a welcome drink.

Ceremonial lighting of Levstkova Kopa
An experienced charcoal burner will confide us
the secret of the quality of Kočevje charcoal and
pile, as well as why it should be
as a rule, turn on by a woman. Who will light the
“kopa” this year remains a mystery.

13:30 – 15:30
Charcoal lunch (price €12, reservation)
– Meat menu: venison cevapcici, bun, kajmak
with charcoal sprinkling, autumn salad
– Menu "on a spoon": chicken stew with
charcoal dumplings, charcoal bread, apple curd
strudel with charcoal

Test Craft beer BREWOOD and a wide selection
of other drinks.

2:30 p.m
Charcoal stories
Charcoal-making attractions and stories about
the former charcoal-making facilities in Kočevski
Rog.

3:30 p.m
Competition in the production of "mulc"
Mulc or small charcoal piles were built by
charcoal burners from wood scraps. They will be
able to participate in the skill-tested teams with
three competitors each, who will be able to
register at the venue itself. All contestants will be
rewarded!

16.00 -
Entertainment
Socializing with the Dupljak group until the end
of the evening with roasted chestnuts.
