CHARCOALFEST 2023 KOČEVJE Saturday, 19 October 2024 / all-day event Cottage on Črni vrh

Let's go on a journey to the funny and tasty charcoal activities next to the lodge on Črni vrh by bike, on foot or by car! An easy mountain hike along forest roads and trails from Luža in Koblarje to Črni vrh takes about an hour and a quarter.

A guided recreational cycling ascent to Črni vrh, with a total length of 13 km, takes us from
Red Sporthall in Kočevje to the destination along cycling paths and a forest road.

Both recreational adventures start at 11:00 a.m.
At exactly noon, we will toast with a welcome drink at Črni vrh. At 1:00 p.m., according to
tradition, a woman will light Levstkova's charcoal pit.

At 1:30 p.m., we will enjoy a charcoal lunch (reservation required at the link below).An hour
later, we will listen to charcoal stories.
At half past four we will compete in the production of "mulc".

From 4:00 p.m., we will forget the time with the pleasant music of the Dupljak band until the
end of the evening with roasted chestnuts.
