BOUNDLESS CREATIVITY AND IMAGINATION
The Konstrukta toy quickly arouses curiosity and ignites children's imagination. The child can build his own world of animals, buildings, vehicles or imaginary objects from the wooden modules according to his original ideas or the attached plans and then play with them. The construction toy develops logical thinking, attention and perseverance, while the pleasant feeling of wood soothes the child. The coordinated movement of the hands and eyes stimulates his fine motor skills and also increases his spatial imagination. Through play, the child explores, solves problems and learns technical laws. It is even more interesting in a circle of friends, where cooperation and a lively exchange of ideas also come to the fore. Creativity and imagination are the foundation of our children's future.
PLAYING WITH NATURAL MATERIALS
The Konstrukta toy is made entirely of natural materials. Beech wood comes from Slovenian forests, which have been responsibly managed and sustainably nurtured for over a hundred years. In Kočevsko, where we manufacture the toy, we are particularly proud of the ancient Krokar primeval forest. From here, after the last ice age, the beech tree spread throughout Europe and dictated the development of the entire continent. The Krokar primeval forest is considered a UNESCO world natural heritage. Wood is a high-quality, renewable material that binds a lot of CO² from the atmosphere during growth and keeps it inside until it decays, thus having a beneficial effect on the climate. The beech wood for the toy is not treated with paints or varnish, so it is healthy and retains all its natural characteristics. The connectors are also made of environmentally friendly, natural rubber.
A QUALITY TOY FOR MULTIPLE GENERATIONS OF CHILDREN
They are things in which we can easily recognize lasting value. They are made with quality and attention, so they accompany us for a long time and endear themselves to us. We also develop an emotional relationship with a good toy that makes us happy and know how to appreciate its value. We hope that our children and maybe even grandchildren will also play with it. With a universal, high-quality toy made of natural materials, we can offer the child rich experiences and instill in him a respectful attitude towards goods. The Konstrukta toy is certainly one of these: carefully thought out, simple, durable and authentic, like a child's attitude towards the world he is learning.
DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED IN SLOVENIA
The Konstrukta toy is manufactured in the most forested region of Slovenia, Kočevsko. The wider area boasts a centuries-old tradition of making wooden haberdashery, known as dry edge. Over time, generations of woodworkers created refined, functional forms of useful objects that were sold far across Europe. Today's craftsmen also come from this tradition and inherited knowledge. The toy of the renowned Slovenian designer Niko Kralja is made in local artisan workshops, where we process wood from our forests.
